Purely financial reasons. I really love the way the M9 sounds. Best big amp I've ever owned. My inventory is getting a bit bloated, as it does periodically. I just bought a Serek too, and want to balance things out a bit. A vintage Eden should go too.

I have a GK MB200 that doesn't really do well trying to push the NV115, but it's cheap and tiny. It used to be used for light carry quiet gigs, but the 800D is small and light enough that I don't think I'll be using it much anymore.

I don't typically carry a backup amp - I think there's an always a way for me to plug in to something to get by if my amp fails. I do bring a backup when I've brought the Eden VT-.40, though.

I don't carry back up amps either. Yes, me too, there is always a work around for me to run direct if something should happen to my amp.

But when Ive had amps serviced, thats when I use my other amp.

That's funny. I use the usb port to light up the FRONT of my rig.
