A New amp or a new Bass?

I am in a desicion to either get an Ampeg ba112 or an Ibanez ATK 3EX-something, the all black one. Anyway, the ampeg would be $150, while the Ibanez would be $170, great deals on both.

But, if i get the amp, i'd be playing a squier Affinity P (with seymour D QP's) through an Ampeg.

If i get the Ibanez, i'll be playing an ATK through a Fender Rumble 15, which isn't much of a great amp.

Advice? I've only been playing for about a year, and an ATK would be great for the kind of Punk i play.

I agree with the above cept that your current bass is nicer then your current amp. And youd get best improvement from new amp for sound. If you like the sound of the ampeg ba12 and later need more you might be able to just add another one to double your wattage and sound projection. Then you have a mini stereo capable rig.
