A new decent combo.

I used a Fender Rumble 100 for quite a while and then switched to the Ampeg RB-210. They are voiced different so a person really should try both to decide which sound they prefer.

I prefer the Ampeg. I did many band practices and quite a few gigs with the Rumble 100, and for me it didn't have enough volume. I suspect it would be the same with the RB-112 in a moderately loud band.

Hi bassists! I'm trying to make my rig at least decent... I have a Laney LX10B, but I'm not happy with it, these are the problems:
  • The PreAmp EQs are almost unusable
  • Inexistent basses
  • Low power
I like playing classic Heavy/trash Metal, like Metallica and Pantera but even some "new" things, like Tool or Soen. I'd like to remain in a combo amp: I have small places. I considered two combos:
  1. The Orange Crush Bass 50
  2. Marshall MB60
What could be best for me? Thanks!

I looked at all of the combo's available in the US in the $350 range, and the Orange Crush Bass 50 was the clear winner.

It has a warm and round sound, yet allows the sound of your instrument to shine thru.

It has a class A/B amplifier, and is pure analog from input to output. But at 50 watts, this is solely a practice amp.
