A nice suprise preamp.

So I bought this the other day svt tube di and then to my surprise it turned out to be this svt tube moc pre. A nice surprise and I got it for a good price. Does any one have experience eith the svt tube mic pre?

So, it is a microphone preamp? I guess you could give that Ampeg growl to your vocals, or mike any cab and it will come out sounding like Ampeg.

Well it has an instrument input and a line input and xlr out so it can be used as a DI. It's got a 12ax7 and a 12au7 tube inside.

Never saw it either. Quick search says it's a discontinued product... one sold for 499 $ on EBay last June.
