I had a friend in school who had very light skin. He was one of the nicest guys around but other black people treated him like dirt. Both his parents had darker skin so it's not like he was of mixed race or anything. i dated a girl once with light skin and green eyes in a different state and it was the same story. Some of the most vile things I have ever heard was directed at those two nice people by members of their own race. Black people would walk right around me the white guy and insult them right in their face. Neither person would really ever answer me why this would happen. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
+1
my sons are mixed and were really light-skinned as little kids. they have been jumped by black kids on several occasions. even as teens they were attacked on a city bus by 5 other blacks. WEIRD!!!!
btw,... my sons beat those boys so good, one of them pulled a pistol inorder to avert taking his whipping.
i have to believe jealousy is a great motivator in some cases.
as to the OP's subject matter, a little story of one of my MANY racial episode's.
from black perspective,.. it annoys me when blacks get racial. but, i'm guessing whites are just as annoyed.
case in point,
a white friend and i walk into a small town bar and start up a pool game. this guy comes over and starts haggling me with racial slurs. i just ignore the dude, but my friend warns the guy.
he leaves and returns with this huge dude with a worst attitude. they ask me to step outside. i look up and start laughing and continue with the game. so the meat-head starts my way when out of the shadows two white guys get between us and stated, "you touch this person and we break you and your buddies face."
the look on the racists' faces,...
PRICE-LESS!!!
it was exactly how i react when in a reverse situation. i almost got stabbed trying to defend a white guy in a black neighborhood, though!
funny thing is,.. i've never had a fight with a white for calling me an N-word because another white person usually will reprimand the offender.
some people harbor ill-will based on what they think they know. i grew up in a rural area so i've had enough hate spewed my way to write a novel,...

Damn you and your sig!!
