Double Bass A "Rare" Red Walter Woods MI-100-4

Gentlemen,
I was searching for Walter Woods Amps and came up with a totally red version of the original MI-100-4. My guess is that the owner built a new box for the head. All the other "Ice Cream Sandwich" models I've ever seen have black tolex tops and bottoms. Anyone else owned one of these? It even sports a red leather handle.

I also suspect that these are mods made by an owner and didn't originally come that way.

Having seen a few MI 100-4's with top and bottom panels that were bent and battered, it's not hard to imagine that someone would come up with replacements of their own design.

+1 Wisely, when Walter redesigned the amp, the revised MI-100-8 had an all aluminum chassis with better venting.
That original top and bottom was pretty flimsy.I've never seen a Woods amp with anything other than a black plastic strap handle.
That's what gives it away.
