Hi there,
I've been a happy owner of a Lakland DJ4 but I am having some problems lately. The E string is producing some sort of strange buzz which I can not identify or locate, but only when the note is fretted. On the other hand, the open E sounds fine. The butt is coming from the bridge-side of the bass. The buzz iz not heard when I plug in the bass, but I feel like it is taking away the natural sustain of the bass. The bass was not exposed to any weather changes or bumps that would cause that.
Also, I think I can sense the same kind of buzz on the A string but it is barely audible...
Much thanks for any input before I take my bass to the luthier.
Regards, Lenart
