I need some recommendations on a pedal. I am looking to replace my Darkglass Anagram pedal. The pedal is just outstanding. I only used it at my Church and we play Contemporary music, so I end up not using the anagram's full potential, so I am going to just moving to a simple preamp pedal that has DI, EQ, Compressor and Overdrive. I found out the following pedal on Sweetwater, any recommendations witch one is really good? or if there are other pedals not listed, please let me know.

Electro-Harmonix Battalion Bass Preamp and DI Pedal
Gallien-Krueger PLEX Bass Preamp Pedal
Darkglass Microtubes Infinity Preamp/Distortion/Audio Interface
EBS MicroBass 3 2-channel Preamp Pedal
ISP Technologies Beta Bass Preamp Pedal

The gk plex will definitely be great. It's not going to have Darkglass levels of drive but it's got a great eq and sounds very gk like. The microbass 3 is great clean but is not as good as Darkglass on the drive. Something else to consider if you really want an all in 1 pedal would be the Trace Elliot transit preamp. 5 band eq. Very nice. Overdrive that sounds good especially at lower settings. The compressor is very useable however I don't use it much personally. It has the DI, has multiple outs, has aux and headphones too. It also has a pre shape function that I think sounds good and is the classic trace voicing they had on all thier bass amps. It's taken over as my favorite analog pedal with the gk plex, ebs microbass 2 and Darkglass b7k as alternates. I will say if you like your anagram might as well keep using it but if you want something different those would be my picks. The bass battalion is something I think I want to demo one day but I know it's a lot more of the same thing I already have with my pedal collection.

I have the EHX...had the EBS...passed on the Plex via advisement of others. Also have the Tech 21 BFR v1 and the Sonicake B Factory which is an extraordinary bargain. What's your budget? Truthfully and in retrospect, I sorta regret not giving the Plex a trial & fair shake.

Let me check that pedal. Is that pedal good?
It's honestly one of the best sounding pedals I have and I have a lot. It's not going to be as transparent sounding as some of the Darkglass stuff but it's a nice thick sounding preamp that has some amp magic in a pedal form. It's to me an underrated piece of gear. As good sounding as a gk plex but cheaper and still being produced. If you buy new it comes with a carry bag that's pretty cool.

I am looking for something in the low $400.
The Plex is a little over budget but talk to your Sweetwater rep. I added "tuner" to your list of qualifications. The TE Transit B is also an option but check the reviews as some folks have complained of a high noise floor. The EBS MB 3 is still popular but I had difficulty finding suitable clean vs OD settings.
