When listing a pedal FS or FT, please include a brief generic identifier, for example, "phaser, delay, fuzz," etc.

I spend a fair amount of time perusing the effects classifieds, and find many listings for pedals with cute/crude/witty/pithy names that give no clue as to what it actually does. True, I could google search each time I encounter an unknown, but there are sooooo many that I lack the time and inclination.

So if you want to up your chances of selling to me, and others like me, don't forget to mention that your "crisco fist phunk" not only modulates, but discombobulates as well.

What year is your Crisco Fist Phunk?

The later ones have been modded to discombobulate at higher excursion rates.

In addition to higher excursion rates the second generation mod also increased the simulated real time resonate trajectory tracking of the discombobulation....but most people agree that the first gen CFP had way more mojo. The prices the older ones fetch pretty much confirms this.

I actually don't understand this all. The request is fine, I just can't picture a scenario where I would see something I've never heard of and NOT look it up and research it before I buy it, even if there's a description of what it does.

I think the idea is you might be more willing to research certain classes of effects (oh hey, what is this synth I've never heard of?). But otherwise I agree with you.

Well, duh! Did I even need to say that? Though east of the Mississippi the resonant trajectory tracking seem to skew a little to the left in a stereo mix. But having a post pubescent female virgin put her right index finger on the CFP while it's being used will nullify this anomaly.
