A return to the L-2000 thanks to Rocket Music

I just received my new L-2000 Cherryburst from Greg at Rocket music. It is stunning in every way. Its got the looks, tone, and playability. Greg gave me a great price and excellent service, AND he set up the bass very nicely for me.

I had two L-2000s years ago and sold them. I have wanted another ever since. When I saw this one at Rocket, I couldnt pass it up. Very glad I made the purchase.

I have one and they are beautiful. Great tonal qualities with the stock D'adds too. Guess we better post pics soon.
How's the neck on yours? (when you get it) Mine is a chunky monkey, unlike 2 older ones I lost in a fire that were standard P-bass like.

mine is definitely not thin, but it is still fast for me. i think the flat raduius helps. and also the neck is not very deep.

I still love mine. Here's a pic of the 2 basses that ended my bass-buying/trading career and the L2K is one of em. Definitely the best Fender on the market!

Sweet! +1000 on Rocket too. My L2500 came from Rocket.

The quality of G&L is on par with the best of them if not better. You can not ask for a better made bass for the price IMO.

i agree. i really dont see how this one could have been done any better, no matter what the price tag.
