the problem with self-publishing availability, the influx of these types of books. in the 80's and 90's books/videos/stuff like this was relgated to television infomercials or AM radio during the hours of 1am-5am.

Actually, I was thinking of the ads that used to run in Bass Player about some product/program that was guaranteed to teach you to have perfect pitch.

I really would like to know what this "code" is about, since it could be useful. I'm just so put off by the propaganda that I can't bring myself to spend any money for it without more (reliable) information.

It doesn't say it comes with a metronome, so it might not be as irksome to him.
