A weird thing happened to me the other day, I was walking to my friends house and up ahead, I heard the sound of a loud buzzing florecent light. Didn't think much about it, but it sounded a bit odd. I look up, no light. It's the sound of raw electricity.

I thought to myself, this doesn't sound good, no bother to me though and kept walking. But the buzzing remained at a constant volume, no matter how far I got, it was following me. Then it started getting louder.

Slightly worried, but mostly curious, I ran. The sound went away. I returned to my normal stride, and slowly, it caught up. I concluded that the electricity just started moving. So I stopped to "let it pass" but it didn't, it just stuck by me. So I ran to my friends house, just to be safe.

Anyone ever see that movie Powder? :D

Yeah, the movie was terrible. I just like referencing terrible movies.




If these were in fact "anti-freeze" beetles, they would have to be "anti-getting shocked to death" beetles too, because they were hanging out on powerlines.

Scarily, I was worried about that. Long story short, I think I got the Lord PO'ed. I've had miracles happen to my advantage and disadvantage. Ha, in an attempt to be artsy I was taking pictures of a hymnal and some of the lyrics lined up vertically to say something Ironic, and as I was lining up to take the shot, the bulb in the lamp right next to my head exploded. I jumped, and started yelling "I'm sorry, I was kidding, I'm sorry" into the air. I'm pretty sure I had a calling to be a pastor/reverend type, but denied it. :hmm:

But lets not turn this into a religious thread, is there any Scientific explaination for this?

Me too, I thought it was so cool when they powered up from drinking the water with that frisbee.

but then I tried to watch it...maybe a year ago, and I was like "this is very very...not good"

However, Bruce Boxleitner was in it, he later appeared in the best sci-fi show on television, Babylon 5.
