A Strapping Young Difference

Most of you probably don't know, but I suffered a very bad injury to my left hand and arm about 10 years ago. While the dexterity in my hand has returned, I've struggled with speed and accuracy since this happened. Until the other day, quite by accident, I noticed if I held the bass much more upright, everything was much better.

So my question is this, does anyone make a strap that will hold the bass in an upright position, or am I going to have to make something that will do this for me?

there are various strap systems like Mundo and Slinger that can help. With a traditional strap, you will need a bass with a long upper horn to achieve this.

Thanks, I'll check those out. The Ibanez SDGR I have has a fairly long horn, but standard straps just don't cut it.
