This is a true player’s Stingray in natural. It has 35 years of honest playwear, which you can see in the pics, and to me it is dead sexy. Very pretty grain on the body, flame and birdseye neck. Has the mute bridge, and the 2-band EQ like a SR Classic, which I personally prefer to the 3-band pre. It has THAT sound.
Rock solid intonation and tuning stability, and plays exactly as it should. This baby has seen it all and is battle tested. You could probably drive nails with it without needing to retune. Comes with OHSC.
I am looking for something different - a passive J/J 4-string of similar value. This beast is hard to price, but I’d estimate $1600-1800. No P/Js please. I could add some cash for the right deal. Show me what you got!
