I can't decide if I want to keep this or get a tort pickguard. What do you think?

I got one on my P bass. Photos dont do that pick guard justice. Keep it IMO, looks killer!

I agree. It seems to me tort and white basses go hand in hand and a lot of basses have that combo. Be original, I think your bass look great the way it is.

Yeah, I like it too - maybe I'll switch mine back tomorrow... I couldn't finid any pics with the abalone on the white Jazz, but here's a better one with it on the black Jazz:

Ask and ye shall receive! (Apologies for the crappy quality)

I don't recall ever having seen one in cinnamon. Sounds interesting though.

Very nice!!! Yeah, the cinnamon color rocks - IIRC, it's one of those colors that changes, depending on light angle... I have a SUB Sterling in blue, that'll get a new PG sometime this year - it's gloss black, atm...

Thanks! I think I remember cinnamon now. It's that copperish, greenish, goldish color they came out with right before they stopped production right? SUB's are f'n great basses. I love the slab body/two band combo. Mine started with a gloss black guard when I got it too. What are you thinking about replacing it with?
