abalone bass pickguard? what do you think?

I know. The brain said yes, but I just couldn't get used to it and couldn't bond with the bass. Once I took it off, I instantly was able to play the bass. I can't explain it. The heart said no. Sort of like dating someone who looks good on paper but you just can't stand. It will definitely make someone else very happy.
