After trying LaBella's Gold flats tuned down 1/2 step, I wanted to give their LTF a try as Im a fan of round-core strings.
I'm mainly looking at their acoustic quality on ABG and how they compare with some of the other 'flats' I sampled; TIJF, Dogal Hellborg Flats, Aquilastrings Copper on Bioplastic, Labella Copper-White Tapes, LaBella 760-FGS Gold Flats, Labella 'Olinto' Flats, and Galli Synthesis.
First Impressions:
G 0.042" or 1.07mm
D 0.056" or 1.42mm
A 0.075" or 1.91mm
E 0.100" or 2.54mm
B 0.118" or 3.00mm
I was really pleasantly surpised with the tone and feel. They do have a bit of 'top end bite' from the Stainless Steel wrap.
Nice attack/sweet mid range with a longer sustain. I'd put them in the jazz-box guitar tone, only deeper. For Flats, they're on the stiffer side (for men) so I found tuning them down 1/2 step hit my sweet spot. I'd put them in "the middle of the pack" for [stiff] <—> [pliable]:

B string:
Acoustically is good, intonates well up the neck, not at all floppy.
