I will start by saying that probably any modern go will be able to do what you need.
In regards to recording in FL Studio I have heard that in previous versions it was more difficult but I don't think that it is currently much or any more difficult than in other DAWs. The unique thing that FL Studio has is the sequencer which I think was talked about in every comparison video I looked up, the one thing you may want to investigate is f PC which is a program that allows you to create a drum kit or just whatever samples you want and program them in the midi sequencer or set up a keyboard or pad and "play" them.
