ABM 500 watt C410T advice please:)

I was looking at an ad for an ABM 500 watt (6-7years old) combo amp with C410T speakers.
The price is 450 euro.. trying to get it down a few more euro.
Now I was wondering what the general life span of an amp like this is?

Is there any major negatives to it's age?
and apart from scratchs and nicks is it there anything I should look for

At the minute for 500 euro I could buy a new Mag C410T 300watt.

however this seems like a much better deal?

any thoughts .. this is my first proper amp purchase so I'm not very well in on whats hot and whats not.. I have a 20watt drive! rock and roll lol

Thanks a lot guys

You may be able to get good mileage out of the amp but I would be more worried about wear & tear on the speakers. You don't know how hard the combo was driven.

Also, be aware that the 410 combo per Ashdown's website is approx 46 kg (101 lbs.). Kinda heavy.
