About Boss LMB-3...

Hello, i'm not very fan of compressor, limiter pedals, but I need some kind of pedal for some parts of slaping and strumming, i think the LMB-3 will be a good choice for this, but I read so many bad reviews that I not sure. Somebody use this pedal for this purpouses? Is good?

I've got one. I'm quite fond of it. I haven't had the opportunity to explore the vast variety of compressor/limiters that are available, but I think the LMB-3 does a great job at keeping your signal pretty level for different playing styles. I like mine quite a bit and leave it on all the time.

I used to have one, used it on a medium-ish setting for slap, and a light setting for picking. I thought it was quite good. Very easy to use, seemed transparent to me (applied the limiting without otherwise affecting my tone). The enhance knob wasn't of much use to me, but YMMV. It's pretty affordable too, esp. used. I'm recommend it for your purposes.

I've been using an LMB-3 for the past week, and it's now my favourite compressor, having tried several big name pedals. It's simple to use, does what it says on the box and isn't encumbered with too many controls and flashing LEDs that can actually distract you from finding a decent level of compression.

very good compressor pedal for the price range, it can get a little noisy with the enhance above 9:00 though.
