Got my first pedalboard ever coming. Looked at almost all the brands and almost bought a Pedaltrain classic jr or novo 18 (to grow into but i'd rather have enough space then not) but I found a company named Accel decided to take a gamble on their XTA-15 Pro Tier model. The seller had this bundled with the XTA adapter plate, tote, and 6 patch cables for around the price of the Pedaltrain with mounting brackets. Couldn't find any information at all about them on this forum or any pictures of them out in the wild so I will include a link. Planning on using the Adapter plate as a possible small board if needed and the XTA-15 as my main. Maybe one day have enough use for enough pedals to use both. Anybody got experience with these?

A modular pedalboard seems like a good idea to me. I'm anxious to see if they are of equal quality to the pedaltrain boards. Only info I've found on them is that the series one designs were made of steel and had more holes in them to runs wire. Really good deals on them on a certain internet bay.

Forgot to follow up in here on this but I've been asked a couple times so i'll copy my last reply in regards to pedalboard since I've received it.

I'm pretty impressed with it. Hard not to be biased in this direction since I've bought it but it truly well built and thought out. It comes with a nicer bag (with pocket), has the one inch raise on the second level (really functional), and has modular ability to add the xt-10 or the wah plates to the side if you ever want to expand. I'm able to fit four pedals on the bottom row of the XTA-15 pretty easily and one of them is a ss/bs TAFM. Only draw back I can think of vs the metro would be the ability to hide patch cables. If you have a cable kit or can make your own cables though then you can make it look clean.

How many pedals do you have? Are you looking at adding more? I honestly think Accel is offering a truly competitive product to the Pedaltrain and might be the first contender to offer something even better for comparable price.

Found this thread as I continue to scour for pedalboards, so many are just a little too small and others are just a little too big, and I can't be arsed to build my own.

I'd like to get a Voodoo, but they suffer, for my purposes, from that same slightly wrong size issue. Same for Gator, who oddly don't have a medium-sized board, which might work for me.

Accel are a bit of a tangent away from other makers, and their XTA15 is an interesting proposition with their tiers, and are not overly expensive. Looking for real use experiences from @Grooveline or anyone else.
