Accidently put my tuner in flat mode....

I am in a cover band Friday we tune up open with American Girl, I come in and somethings messed up. I have to play 1/2 step higher screws up all my open string stuff and distracts me from my back ups. After the song my guitarist says retune, I said I am in tune, maybe you left your guitar in standard ( we normally play 1/2 step down) he checks his guitar and start the next song and of course I am still flat 1/2 step. Play the whole 1st set play 1/2 step up. In between sets I figured out what happened. I run sound and lights also, so it made for an interesting 1st set.

I did the same thing - only we were at practice - i checked my tuner twice-told me i was in tune - but had to lower everything by 1/2 step- the keyboardist, who doesn't know a thing about tuners, electronics or anything.figured it out that somehow I changed the parameters of the tuner.- very odd experience

Blessing of the Bikes outdoor gig back in April, we take a long break while multiple people come to the mic and do their thing. By the time they are finished 45 minutes has gone by. Came back on stage and tuned after my bass sat for almost an hour. I remember thinking man this thing got out of tune, but it was humid and outside so I didn't think twice about it. Go to come in to the first song a couple bars in along with the drummer and "Blahhhhhhhh" obviously out of tune. One of the many people coming across stage during the break must have done some serious stomping on my tuner as it was a half step out. I backed out after that one loud, embarrassing note, figured out what had happened and got two strings in tune to get through the song before the end of the first verse. But, talking about embarrassing. :o
