The thing is, as much as you love the cab, and I'm glad that you do, someone inevitably won't like it.

(Thus, my sig, which says 'there's no accounting for taste' in Latin.)

What people seem to appreciate on TB are review posts such as those by KJung.

He describes as best he can what certain products sound like rather than give blanket statement. Most importantly, he describes his tonal goals, so when he expresses an opinion on something, there is a relative comparison. This gives us consumers a bit more knowledge about all the products being offered up to us.

Bill is direct, I'll give you that. But he's always fair in his assessment and posting. I've never seen him be rude for the sake of rudeness. Add to that that he regularly gives more quality info and input than 99% of the people on this board. He gives freely and happily.

Maybe it's time to take step back and try this all again, everyone... ;)

Teh internets is tough. For the record, I don't think you were trying to be a prick to anyone with your comments about weekend players, you were just making a point about the cost. No harm done.

But, I have to agree with the assessment of your writing style. If you found a book written like that, you'd probably put it down after about two paragraphs. Not trying to kick you in the berries though. Maybe you wrote it on a phone.

Edit: Aha! It appears you did. Avoid writing long reviews on phones!

With respect, folk using phones is a fairly new thing. They just have to remember that some of we old fogeys simply don't understand tyexting and short form english. All of us should be striving to keep the English language pure because it IS one of the most widely use modes of communications that we have in this small planet.
