Bit more done on the Chambered Skelf.

More work done on the chambered Skelf. Just need a dry day to get the neck carved,so should be done next June.

What do you think you're going to string the piezo skelf with?

The vast majority of my "piezo posse" are strung with Labella tapewounds. But i've had good luck with Thomastik nylon cores and even the odd flatwound or roundwound nickel strings.

Definitely. But I'm particularly interested in that top neck. I think we need a blown up version of that picture.

I'm not an expert but that certainly looks like a paduak/maple/wenge neck with a flame sycamore fingerboard.

I bet it would look fantastic attached to a Recurve 6 body with camphor top and back, sycamore accents and a spanish cedar core. :bassist:
