I used west systems epoxy on this one as the Redwood is really soft so the epoxy seals it and hardens it at the same time. Having sprayed Redwood before without the epoxy it soaks up loads of lacquer before the pores are filled. At the point above it has a few coats of lacquer as well,this will be sanded back and sprayed until the surface is level then the top coats will go on and it will be left to harden before buffing it out. The neck for this one is away getting LED's fitted and will be oiled.
