Achievements?????

I like to look at "alerts" to see if someone's responded to a post - well, now I get all these "Achievement - you made a post!" like I'm two years old and being rewarded for making poopy in the pot - that obscure what I'm actually looking for. I recommend nuking the "Achievement!" alerts as there's no way they can be providing any value to anyone, and just let it go back to responses and quotes.

100% agree. I am not on this board to earn achievements, get badges, etc. TB would be wise to completely drop this feature.

Agreed, the achievements could go away, or at least have an option to disable/ignore/don’t tell me. I looked in setting to try to turn them off, but I didn’t find it. There sure a lot more settings now.

Click on your profile picture and select the gear, then preferences… then scroll down until you see those settings.

I’m also a supporting member so that might make a difference as well

I have temporarily disabled the Achievements addon. I may bring it back with a much more limited and more 'useful' achievements (like awarding good posts with upvotes etc).
