Basically, which do you find to be better?
I use Reaper now, but find myself still needing a program like Sound Forge for cutting/editing, effects, EQ, pitch shift, stuff like that. Love it for multi tracking though.
So I ordered Acid Music Studio 8.0 since it was on sale, hoping that it would do the multi-tracking of Reaper, and the editing of Sound Forge. From the demo, it seems so far to not be able to do much of anything that Sound Forge does either, but I could be wrong.
My only problem with Sound Forge is that I have an older version that will not work on Win7. I'd like to have an all-in-one, but I don't mind using Sound Forge if that's the best way to go.
So once I get Acid, I may just sell/trade it and get a new version of Sound Forge...unless it does something that Reaper does not do. What are your thoughts on Acid (Music Studio 8) vs Reaper?
