I just got an Acme Low-B2 Series III cab, I am looking to add another Acme Low B cab. I am interested in knowing what would be a good match; either another Acme Low-B2 or an Acme Low-B 112FR. Any recommendations?

Acme Low-B cab recommendation

I would get another Low B-2 and stack the two cabs vertically. I had that setup for a while and loved it, but it's ten kinds of overkill for my current playing situation.
The Low B2 is available in both 4 and 8 ohms versions. Make sure whatever speaker you add doesn't cause the total minimum load to go below what your amp is capable of.
I really love running a pair of 2x10's when I need to potentially throw a lot of sound, but I've also been fine with using only one when I'm playing in a more cozy setting or practicing at home. I have an Acme Low B2 (Series II) that I found when I went shopping for better cabs a few years ago, but the other one that I found at the same time as the Acme was an SWR Goliath Jr.
Conventional wisdom typically encourages us to stick with two of the same cab, but at least in this case my Acme and SWR are both rated at 350 watts RMS and 8 ohms. After I used them together for a few shows, I didn't find any issues with them fighting each other, phase cancellation, etc. While both cabs have been terrific for me, I can say that I like to use the Acme when I'm only playing one cab on its own, but I really can't say why.
My only reluctance with a 1x12 cab is that I get the general impression that I'd need at least two for a lot of settings other than practicing at more moderate volume and perhaps recording. With a pair of 2x10's, I feel like I'm 100% covered. I've even done fine using this pair of cabs outdoors without PA help. Then again, if I needed to go out tomorrow and find something in a more tidy package that sounded really nice, I'd probably want to look at a 1x12.
You should get better odds for success with a pair of 2x10's... unless the 1x12 is specifically laid out to work together with your Low B2

Did you get the ACME 112? I was considering getting a B112 to go with a B2. Just curious how the current set up is b/c I just got a B2 (8 ohm) from Andy last week....and just ordered a second one yesterday. I've been running various 12s for the last 15 years or so, but before that, my rig was a pair of the SWR Goliath Jr 210s stacked vertically. I've been aware of ACME since day one seeing his ads in BP magazine etc, but never tried them until I bought a pair of B1s a few years ago. I thought they might be able to do a gig, but not quite loud enough.....so I finally pulled the trigger on the B2. I'm currently testing at home - the B2 with a B1 - sounds pretty good, but not sure how the B1 will do at a gig, so also testing it out with a RevSound 115 - might take this combo to a gig this Friday if the second B2 doesn't get here in time. My plan is to use the pair of B2s for most gigs.
I did get a B2 at one point, it was great, I love that cab, however because it is a rear ported cab I felt that it needed to place the cab close to the wall in order to get that nice deep low end, I sold that cab then I almost got the 112, but instead I decided to get the Acme Low B 212. This cab is a beast; it can loud if you needed to be, and it doesn't lose the deep low end. I play it on a gig on September, and I was blow away how great this cab is. You don't need to add another cab this cab is amazing by itself. I highly recommend the 212. Instead of 2 x B2. I do also have a B1, for those low volume gigs and it is great.
