Looking for help...I am using 2 Acme Low B's with my upright in a bluesy/rockish/whatever band. I have tried my Genz Benz Shuttle 6 and my GK 1001 RB. Neither sem to have enough juice to create the volume I need. Any suggestion's

Acme Low B..

One reason I use a dedicated power amp for (2) 8 ohm Acme B-2's. They really shine with each cab seeing 300-500 watts. If you're happy with your existing amps, there's no reason you can't run a post-EQ from either to a slave power amp. Low volume or "intimate" gig? No problem...either head should be able to power a single B-2 satisfactorily. You can be a really nice used lightweight amp for less than $300.
If you like the combination, sell the integrated GK head and snag a secondhand 2001 RBP preamp. Same thing but with no power section.
