I'm an avid acoustic player, i have a bunch but always wanting more. are there any "fine" ones out there?

please don't say warwick aliens, michael kelly, breedlove, ibanez, or anything you can find on guitar center
i'm talking "FINE"
does anyone know any builders?

They're not currently in production (unless Bob Taylor could be convinced to build one as part of his "R. Taylor" non-production-line of custom instruments) but in my opinion Taylor's AB-series of basses were certainly up there with the highest of caliber acoustic basses. I recommend doing a search using "Taylor basses" and my username, as I've written far more about them than I could ever recall/repost[/i] right now.

You should check out the Kinal Kompact. He does custom acoustics as well. I think someone on here (Lokire I think ) has got a couple. A fretless 6 and a fretted 4. I might be wrong though.
