Acoustic 360 preamp...what can I power it with

I by chance got a hold of an Acoustic 360 preamp. Obviously the the 361 cab witht he tube power amp is even harder to find. Really confused on what to power this thing with. I have a Ampeg 8x10 and can't find any stricly power TUBE amps. Would a crown amplifier do the job ok and if so what wattage is acceptable for an Ampeg 8x10.

The Aguilar DB728 is a 400w tube power amp. I think there's one in the classifieds right now.

Congrats on the 360. That is a sexy preamp with alot of mojo.

The 361 cabs had a SOLID STATE power amp and it was more than enough power to kill most clubs.

For the 810 you will need a higher power amp. I am a big fan of the crown macrotechs or the crest CA series.

I don't think a tube power amp will be neccessary because the Acoustic gear was designed to be solid state.

My bud used to play a 370, not the same but closer now than anything else, through an 8x10 Ampeg and it was mean! So any good power amp. Even SS.
In those days we had square back SVT cabs laying around. I used to play a Marshall Major head through one. '70 Fender Tele bass with single coil pu. That was mean too. The 370 was louder but he was also using the folded horn 1x18 and eclipsing me with watts and coneage an throw. I hadn't added a Sunn 2000s head and Ampeg V4B cab yet.
Okay what are two bassists doing with this gear jamming together. Just sayin' those were the days.
