so i think it would be a pretty good idea to try and make one of those broken b200's on musiciansfriend into a cab. what would it take to do this?

Not really a great idea. Just get the b115 cab. For one thing, it's a bigger box than the combo.

yeah, at a 50 dollar price difference, it's not really worth it.
