Y'all might want to post the question at the Acoustic forum. About a year ago I spoke with a fellow that said he had been working with the original designers of Acoustic on reintroducing some of the old Acoustics including the 360 and a mini 360. But so far I haven't seen anything official.

Acoustic is on the way back. There will be two different lines produced by two separate companies. One will be made in Asia. The other will be made in America. The made in Asia line is rolling out at Guitar Center stores. I believe most if not all items will be under $700.

The made-in-America gear is designed by Russ Allee, the original Acoustic designer, and one of the most respected audio engineers alive today. The flagship of the American line will be the re-introduction of his legendary 360/361. The American company is sparing no expense at recreating this benchmark amplifier. It will be very faithful to the original, but with improvements in key areas that Russ Allee has been at work on for 40 years.

The 360/361 is one of several bass amplification systems coming from Russ Allee and the new American sourced Acoustic company. This new line will be as cutting edge in today's market as the original Acoustic gear was in its day.

as far as i know it's not on the website, or anywhere on the internet for that matter. heck, like i said, i had to go in the acoustic guitar room at my gc to find it... it's one tricky little guy.

Found the B20 at GC this afternoon, I must have been the first to plug it in as the cord was still coiled. It sounds great for it's tiny size. The EQ is quite functional (4-band IIRC). It has two inputs plus a 1/8" input for CD/MP3 player and a 1/8" phone jack. Aesthetically it follows the old look perfectly; the face is black with the blue lines around, the logo is identical, knobs are black with chrome caps, and there's white piping around the black grill cloth. It would blend seamlessly into a room of vintage Acoutic gear... Very nice!

This amp will be my #1 recommendation for people looking for a practice amp. At $150 I'm looking for an excuse to buy one. (merry Christmas to me!).

In 1987 the music store I managed picked up the Acoustic line of combos. They were by far better sounding than the Fenders and Peaveys we carried.

Went to the GC in Clackamas Oregon tonight because of you yeahoos. GAS attack!

I brought in my Geddy for a rehearsal... unfortunately the bass room is right next to the drum room and it happened to be amateur night.

But, I can say it looks like a solid unit. All 5 knobs worked fine. From what I could hear it sounded fine. I'd like to head back at a quieter time to check it out thoroughly. I just couldn't drop the $150 without a good go at it.

I too visited the local GC this evening and found the Acoustic in acoustic guitar room. Test drove it with a nice p bass. Cute amp.

Played one today. Nice. I was focused on the Stingray I was trying.
But I actually liked the B20, though I can't comment on how loud it can be.

The tone was more than acceptable. I just set everything at 12 o'clock,
and then pretty much forgot about it. I was curious about hearing the low
end of the Stingray (think Paul Denman of Sade). It was not heavy on the
bottom, but responded to the Stingray's EQ well.

Seems like an amp that might merit a second look.

hopefully GC employees will figure out soon that "Acoustic" isn't referencing the type of guitars these amps are designed for.
