active DI for godin a4 fretless

You have an Hiz input on your Apollo (except x16 model) , with access to Unison preamp.
No need for a DI

FWIW , I personaly prefer passive DI for bass....

The question creates more questions. Is it just for recording? Will it be used for gigging as well? Are you looking for some tome shaping?
Radial make some good vanilla options with the pro48 and the J48. Their Spark looks interesting but I haven't tried it. Reddi gets lots of love. Many will recomend an Avalon U5. Countryman 85 is a unit used by a phenomenal number of professionals. Throw in a Sansamp BDDI and its variants if you need some grind.
That list covers a price range from $99 to about $800 and covers basic transparent DI to tubey goodness and Ampeg grind type tone shaping and it still is just a fraction of the quality possibilities. There are also some very low cost options that will be recommended but I have found them unacceptably noisy every time I've had to use them. If low cost is the driving concern I would reccomend a passive DI
