So my P Lyte Deluxe recently started distorting after being professionally rewired. Before the distortion set in, the volume pot started allowing full volume in its lowest position. I took it to someone else who replaced the seemingly-faulty volume pot. The original pot was rated as a 25K, but all he had in the shop was a 50K. Will this diminish or change the output of the instrument? I think the instrument is sounding alright otherwise...
