Ok so I just copped 2 Alesis adats... Now I want to set them up for recording on the computer.. Whats a good sound card for adat?

RME 9632 or 9652 can be had super-cheap on ebay. Awesome drivers! Just make sure to get the HDSP model, not the older one.

- Full disclosure, I'm a certified Fender technician working in a music store that carries Fender, Yamaha, and Ibanez products among others.
RME is going to be your best bet, though Echo and PreSonus both make cheaper units that have ADAT inputs.
RME HDSP 9652 for PCI card, M Audio Lightbridge for Firewire.
Or just get a Mackie 8 bus and wait for people to start clamoring for that retro 1990's sound.

Emu 1212m is what I use it only allows for one ADAT
So total inputs are as Follows

Cost is approx $150 USD
Also, besides the RME cards, if you are staying on Windows XP or Vista and are not going 64 bit, and have a PCI slot, the Steinberg VSL 2020 card has some of the lowest latency available, and has 16i/o ADAT plus analog i/o, SPDIF, and MIDI all in one card. You can pick these up on ebay dirt cheap. It's abondonware, but if you're not gonna upgrade your PC, it'd be perfect.
