Addams Family - The Musical

Has anyone played the Addams Family Musical?

The score calls for Upright / Electric BG and Fretless BG - I don't really want to haul that much gear into the pit each night? Any thoughts / experiences? Thanks! - Dan

I played it two years ago. I don't play upright, but there are lots of long tones that would've been "better" played arco. I don't think anybody but myself really cared. For the fretless section (one song, one short segment) I just used a chorus pedal with my fretted electric.
