Hey, I have Fender P-bass made in North America :)

I am running it through the Ampeg BA 2x10 which sounds great but the guys I play with have Marshal tube double stacks and they say I need at least a 4x10 to keep up. I want to add the Ampeg portaflex PF-210he.

questions

Does that seem like enough watts? both are 400 watts

Would they match each others tone well?

My first post!

Thanks!

With the added PF210HE cab you should have more than enough volume.
If not, the guitarists are playing way too loud.
It will also help to boost your mid control.
Personally I haven't tested mentioned set-up, but some have and they seem pleased...

I use B-15 repro cabs for Portaflex cabs so yeah, I love them :D My favorite of the current ones is the PF210he, but I don't have any. Might fix that in a month or two, though.
