Adding a passive tone pot

I'm not new to soldering, just wondering about the advice here. I'm looking to install a tone pot for when my bass is in passive mode. Looks like I can just hook it up between the volume and the output? GWB205 by the way, but the electronics are the same.

Connect the passive tone to the red circled terminal if you want the passive tone control to work in both active and passive modes. Connect to either one of the purple circled terminals and passive tone will only work when bass is switched to passive mode.
