Adding cabinet to a combo?

Would it be worth adding a cab to a 60W combo? My amp is fender with a 12" sub and it has the line out for it. I may start playing in a band so i could use some more power. So would another 10" or 12" sub make much differance out of the 60W amp?

A lot of combos offer increased wattage if you pair them with a seperate cab. However, you'll probably only get about 100w max, and that's simply not adequate to drive a couple 12s in a real band situation. I would save your money and buy something a little bigger with a lot more wattage. 300w sounds like a good starting point.
