Adding the Hartke 2.5 Cab. Will it work?

Hello fellow bass artists, I am respectfully seeking some opinions. I am playing in a high-energy funk, dance, R & B band and use an Ampeg B115HP Combo Amp. The responsiveness of this amp is excellent as all of my nuances [esp 16th notes] can be heard and felt. Some of small to mid-size rooms get full and as the band requires more sound I am pushing my Ampeg to the limit. So, I purchased a used Ampeg B500DR and a Hartke XL15. Man, the low end was fabulous! - but, the mids and high end were lost. I could hardly hear notes on my G string. I found a Hartke 2.5 cab today with 2 10" speakers and a tweeter which I would like to purchase. That will bring my 2 8 Ohm cabs down to 4 Ohms and the B500DR will be pumping 350 watts into the 2 cabs. I know it's gonna be more equipment to move but the combo sometimes doesn't deliver enough. Here's my question >> Do you think adding the extra cabinet will solve the problem of hearing my G string? I do. Thanks!!

the 2.5xl and 115xl was supposed to be a good sounding setup for their day.

I've heard the 2.5xl is also a great stand alone cab for a 210.

I've never used those, I have a very old 410xl and its fantastic.
