"Advanced Search Options" in tapatalk

The Search page in tapatalk (iPhone) shows "Advanced Search Options are not available in this forum". On another forum that I read via tapatalk, I have these and can search specific boards or posts from a particular user.

I'd like this on TB so that I could, for example, search for "shuttle" but limit it to the Amps classified forum.

Will TalkBass make available the advanced search options?

I second this. Searching is a pain on the new app.

There used to be a very simple search option via the app that's also now gone. You could simply drag a page down and search within that forum. Absolutely invaluable in areas like basses for sale where one would be looking for a specific bass without wading through pages of listings.

Really feels like a big backwards step - especially given the, admittedly clunkier, advanced search option has gone as well

I've got a call out to the developers to look into this. I'm not sure why "advanced search" is not available for our forum, and I agree that searching specific forums is a must.

I am also not able to view profiles, and the search is useless as-is.

In addition whenever I open a thread it goes to the last post instead of the last unread post as I have specified in my settings.

Update on the advanced search: we need to upgrade our forum software first, so that we're compatible with Tapatalk's newer plugins. We're working to make this happen asap, but it probably won't be for another week or two as there's a lot to take care of when upgrading.

The constant freezing and closing out is fixed but any idea when we'll get the advanced search back?
