Advice on rig options

Hello all.
Having just read a bunch on the Rumble thread and testing out a rumble 200 combo yesterday, I have questions. First off, I play in two bands, one is a 5 piece bar cover band and the other is a detuned heavy loud metal band. Normally use a GK 800rb for the cover band with a Bag end 115 cab and a TC 210 if needed. Metal band uses a GB Gbe1200 with a 4x10
And 2x15. The metal band gear is heavy, at 80 lbs with case, the GBe is insane, but it's amazing . My dilemma is this. If I purchase a Rumble 500
Combo, I can use
It alone or with the Bag End for the cover band and the GK with the 410 and Rumble
Together for the metal band. Will the Rumble
Do the job? The GK with the 4ohm 410 is loud but needs more headroom. Will the addition of the rumble A/B 'd give me enough headroom to be heard with 2 guitars tuned to C? I love the way Rumble sounds and its lightweight. If this works, I will have a very versatile rig. But can those two do what the GBe does? Any experience or thoughts greatly

You have plenty of amps already.
Another 4x10 would only help but still have a tough time.
I say you need a large cab.
A quality 8x10 might do the trick with the GB gbe1200 pushing 1000watts.

I remember pushing an 8x10 with 1600watts and still was NOT LOUD ENOUGH. Usually heavy metal guitarist take frequencies from the bass player. I had to quit the band because I ended up getting a small ring in my ear from hearing loss.

Usually a band that loud isn't very audible or pleasing to the ear.

I used to lug 8x10's around. I'm looking for powerful and light weight. Even if I have to drag a couple, it's better than one big one. As far as plenty of amps, the Genz would have to go. Just don't see where I'd use it anymore . I love it, but it needs to be half the weight at best.

Does your metal band have to be that loud? I run an swr rack rig through an older 2x15 mesa ph cab and i find myself needing to turn down in my metal band. We tend to sound wayyyyy better when we can actually hear the articulation of notes being played.
