Here it is! I took it to jazz band practice today after having played it a grand total of about 25 minutes. Probably a bad idea. I'm definitely not used to fretless yet. Part way through Birdland (in which I can usually nail most of the solos), my professor stops everyone, turns around and asks me "What's wrong today?"I told him I just got this bass today and that I'm not use to it yet. So he gives me this look and asks "what bass are you playing for the concert next week?" I kind of laughed and told him this one if I practiced a lot between now and then but my Carvin if I didn't practice much. He still seemed a little worried, so afterwards I had to go reassure him that whichever one I chose, I would be able to play the parts fine. He wasn't so worried then.
I'll probably end up deciding which I'll use about 20 minutes before the show. That should make it more interesting!
