advice pls

been out if it for a while and need advice re amps. the dealer i use carries traynor, gallien kruger, and ampeg. looking at just the amp (cabs another issue), trying to stay below a grand. i play finger, pick and some chords on a stingray.
the recommendations from my dealer are 1001 rb, db 800h and an ampeg svt, in that order.
or should i bee checking to find another dealer with other amps?
i really like my dealer tho.

i kinda screwed up and i've got two threads going (new to this forum, and i wasn't patient...sorry).
i'm overdoing it based on my actual situation, but i'm not wanting to find myself in a position that i'll have to upgrade.
i'll just be practicing and maybe doing the pub scene eventually, a 200W combo would do me just fine right now...but i'm planning ahead.
mm stingray, pick, finger and some chords (no slap per se)
the other thread i got going is gk 1001, traynor

Take a look at the Traynor 350 watt combo with the 1x12. (not the model with 2x8") Later on, when you start playing gigs, add the matching 1x12. The combo is pretty light-something like 47 lbs and the extension 1x12" is 25 lbs.

My Carvin LH500 and Avatar B410 sound great together, and would come in close to your budget. Then again, I was really considering some Carvin stuff. This rig would probably be very sweet, and a lot of people love this particular amp:
