Advise for buying a GK combo

I have 2-GK-MBE115 (35lbs ea),along with hartke,ampeg and SWR. I find myself using 1-MBE115 and my GKMB200(great little amp or my GK1001rb II. Great tone. But 1 trip(46lbs) n out the door that includes (stingray5,mb200,mbe115). It is better to have components like heads,cabs for more versatility and to be able to taylor your rig. Nothing against combos as I own 2 of those also. But compact,light n keep it moving cant be beat. Ultimately your choice. Whatever you decide, good luck.

Yea, just don't ask about mixing 4x10s and 1x15s The MB112-II and the MBP make great small room rig that is easy to load in/out, with the rig you allready own and that you will be set for a while!

I've got an MB112 combo that works out great when I do small to medium sized gigs or when stage space is tight. It's also great for my unplugged type gigs or the coffee house circuit. Very punchy and tight bottom end and far louder than you'd ever expect from a box that small. It'll cover a lot of ground.

For a 1x15 I preferred the tc BG250 to the GK MB115 but that's a matter of personal taste somewhat based on it's better features and a more "old school" tonality and rounder bottom end compared to a GK. Both are great 1x15 combos.
