Double Bass AER... why don't you cater for us...???

The only Aer amp that I've ever played through was one of the earlier guitar amplifiers that was similar to a Bass Cube

Was that the compact 60 by any chance? How did a guitar amp handle the low end...?

Remember, this was about 4 years ago. As memory serves me, I only played some of the store's 4 and 5 string basses though it, and I certainly didn't crank it. It had a very clear uncolored sound, much like the Walter Woods bass amps (minus Walter's Upper Midrange) I own or Acoustic Image amps I've played through. Plenty of headroom, but since it was a guitar amplifier I didn't push the volume very hard. It also was pretty heavy for that small of an amplifier. Had to weigh over 30 lbs.. It had good bass response, not boomy, clear and full.
