Affordable, Portable Amp?

Hello,

i was wondering if anyone knew a pretty affordable, smaller amp that still has a good sound to it.

my church is in need of a bassist, and after talking to the music minster there, he informed i needed to bring my own amp, and my current one is a giant, blown-out one ;)

any help is appreciated :D

First place I'd look is the T.B. classifieds, many used bargains can be found.
My second suggestion would be to go to your nearest Guitar Center. Check out their G.C. line of Acoustic bass combos. IMHO, the G.C. Acoustic combo's are a great bang for your buck.

im looking into getting an acousic amp and cab.
i was looking for something with less power,
but for the price i can afford to go a little bigger.
they are great for the price IMO and are worth at least looking into.
