Yes, that's a guitar head. I hope the speakers are bass cabs. Great amp, though I'd stick with bass amps myself. Keep us posted.

As far as the other people that posted:
It is a "guitar" head but it is quite often used as a bass head and even Orange markets it as a guitar/bass head.
I haven't played it myself, but my guys at Orange told me it sounds very similar to an AD200B with the addition of a second channel.

ETR - Extended Tonal Range.
Performs well as low as 33 Hz works great as a bass head. It has the same tubes on its clean channel as the AD200B.
Sounds awesome through my acoustic stack, just got back from playing. It's not for you if you want to play clean though, but distorted it sounds great. The clean sound is wonderful but not loud enough for most types of rock. Since my band only does clean on slower, quieter parts, works well. Really well.

My ears are definitely ringing a day later. Never happened with me old solid state head.

You can use a guitar head for bass or a bass head for guitar. It just doesn't always work soundwise for all applications.
Especially in older tube type designs, there's actually not that much difference between guitar and bass heads, a lot of times.
My amp was designed for use by both guitarists and bassists.
this has a crazy frequency range they call it ETR it goes really low....down to 33hz which is nice and low even for bass overtones.
