age of my amp

My GK 800RB's "date sticker" that was originally near the power supply (I'm guessing) is gone, but the SN sticker (and a little round red and yellow sticker with another # on it) is still in place. where can I go to figure out what year my amp was made? or how can I use the S/N?

Well, I never knew there was a date sticker after owning mine for nearly 20 years but you got me interested.

Mine has a small sticker that reads "3-87" located next to the connection for the power cord. I assume that's what you're referring to.
Where is the serial # located? I don't see a serial sticker on the back but since it's in a rack, I couldn't easily look elsewhere. My amp went through Hurricane Katrina so could have some missing stickers.

yep, that's it, and my amp's missing it.

On the cooling fin, there's two stickers, one has a number that's as long as a VIN on a car, and the other is a lot shorter and starts with "NS". The NS sticker is round, red, and yellow.

OK, you jogged my memory, I rember that now.
My serial # is 55433 (made in 03,1987). I read it with a mirror rather than removing it from the rack!

mine is 772380. Somewhere in the mid-90's I'm guessing? It's got a vertical power switch, but the colors on the switch are black and white instead of black and red. It also only has one input for the 100-watt section.
